Granted, all of the questions pertain to the year 1967 — the year in which “Aquarius” is set — so perhaps, depending on the amount of research he put in, the actor has an advantage? Regardless, his knowledge is solid.

This is not the first time Duchovny has proven his smarts. He was the first celebrity contestant on “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” in 1998 and according to Stephen King, Duchovny’s 1995 appearance on “Celebrity Jeopardy” led to King’s writing of “X-Files” ep called “Chinga.” Not to mention the fact that the actor has a B.A. in English Literature from Princeton University and an M.A. in English Literature from Yale University.

“Aquarius: The Complete First Season” is now available on Blu-ray and DVD.
